Ralson Carbon Black was a subsidiary of Ralson India, one of the leading bicycle tyre manufacturers.. The Carbon Black Plant was established in a village called Malerkotla, near Ludhiana, Punjab in the year 1984 with an installed capacity of 10,000 TPA which was enhanced to 20,000 TPA in the year 1989 and subsequently to 25,000 TPA in 2002.
Goodluck carbon was in business with Ralson Carbon from 2005 and finally took over the plant and the Brand name on lease in February, 2011. After the alliance, the plant started in February itself.
